Thankful Things

the waves have been really fun lately
Christmas cacti are bloomin' for a minute
the (borderline messy) coat rack is actually in use
this vulture came flying by
I've been surfing as santa
it's always good when you run into these guys
opening the coconut might be my favorite part
he surfs pretty
and sleeps hard afterwards
20 minutes later and I have breakfast for the whole week
the beginning of whale watching season is here
my dad loves that
sunset season is here too
we all love that

{a lot of these photos were taken by Scott}

I wanted to get you all something for Christmas. One day I thought about making a couple of mixed CDs and doing a giveaway for them, thinking anyone who wanted one could sign up and I'd mail 'em out. The next day I remembered it was 2013 and I could embed a playlist onto my blog. So here it is (or linked here). These are some of my favorite songs from this year…although I'm likely to think of a few more later. What are some of yours?

Merry Christmas and happy holidays everyone! Thank! you! for! reading!

    1. I hope you like the songs (or at least a few) Maria! I was thinking just the other day about trying to put together a "how to" for the vertical earth garden. Actually, that would probably be more like Scott putting together the how to, but maybe it'd be helpful if you wanted to make one yourself.

  5. Ah, I'm imagining myself scanning the horizon for whales right now:) It beats the cold weather here. I love all your pictures, but my favorite is the one of you with an ax getting ready to slice open a coconut:) Awesome! Hope you have a great weekend!
