  3. I love how you take a moment to reflect on what you're thankful for. I need that reminder sometimes. That quote is beautiful and so true. You're going to have a lot of raking to do when that tree loses its leaves:) I'll have to show you pictures of when the leaves begin to fall around us. It's insane. It's the one time a year I feel bad for making Wade do the yard work alone. I help by making a big leaf pile and jumping in it:) Have a great weekend!

    1. This whole story of raking the leaves made me smile :) Fuuun! I've really only raked palm tree branches that have fallen after a storm...it's not nearly as special as raking colored leaves sounds.

  4. A lovely group of photos that made me sigh. Your blog has a really good vibe to it Devon - calm, happy, appreciative of the joy in the small things of life. I always love to visit, and I always feel more positive when I have read one of your posts. You weave a little magic into your words and pictures I think. Thank you for sharing. I hope you both have a really good weekend.

    1. Wow CJ, thanks. That means so much. A space like this is really made so much by the people who are a part of it. Thanks for being so sweet and supportive.

  5. Great photos and an even greater quote! I often think people look for happiness in all the wrong ways, and that quote is perfect in putting together the pieces of the puzzle. I really enjoy reading your blog because your words are so inspiring!
