This photo of me was taken by a nice man named John Gill. Thanks John! And don't worry, I didn't hit that kid, it's just the angle.

What are you thankful for this week?

  1. New follower from Hollie's #FF! :)

So jealous that you know how to surf!!!

  2. These are amazing photos! Gosh I wish I'd learned how to surf when I lived in California. But now that I'm following I can just oo and awe over your photos. :)

Also, I think I need that pizza recipe. YUM!

  3. Girl, I totally was with you on the pizza. Until I saw the jalapenos.. bless your heart. I would die.

  4. the more i read your post, the more my heart screams for surfing. and the more regret iam that i didn't do that when i lived in bali. i eat pizza while reading your blog right now.haha.

  5. that pizza looks beyond delish... my mouth is seriously watering right now... and you think i'm kidding.

  6. Hey there,
glad you guys liked the post and thanks for your comments! These are the ingredients we used:
Organic (if possible) of the following...

-pre made whole wheat dough (ours is from Whole foods, but you can get it a Trader Joes etc.)
-brush olive oil on the dough and we added oregano (pic #2)
    -pizza sauce
-minced garlic (I think I did 2 cloves)
    -cherry tomatoes
    -red onions
-jalapenos (I will totally understand if you omit)
-cheese blend *under and on top of ingredients

    Other notes:
-we baked dough ingredient free at 400 for about 10 minutes then added the toppings and baked it again as package said (but keep a close eye on it)

    have fun!

  7. Pizza looks great! What looks even better though is that surf. This is what awaits me when I can walk again! It's been six years since I lost the use of my leg. I believe that someday I will regain the use and one of my goals is to surf!

  8. I for one can say the ocean can be so healing. I'm rooting for you! There's a surf film called "Shelter" that shows a man surfing with one leg. It can be done. Best wishes!

I love to hear from you! I try to reply within the comment form.
